About Us

Coast 2 Coast Sports Tours was founded in 2017 by Zac Tucker, a high school teacher. Prior to 2017, during the summer and school breaks Zac would plan group trips for small groups of friends to attend MLB, NFL, or NHL games.

Zac decided to create Coast 2 Coast to share his love of traveling to professional sports events and sightseeing with others. Coast 2 Coast has family-friendly tours to arenas, ballparks, and many iconic sightseeing destinations across the country. All of the tour packages include hotel accommodations, premium seating for games, and luxury charter bus transportation.

People often ask me how my love for sports turned into a business. The truth is, it happened naturally.

Coast 2 Coast Sports Tours was born from a passion that started long before I ever considered entrepreneurship. It began in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I grew up as a die-hard Braves fan. My dad would take me to Fulton County Stadium to watch some tough Braves teams, and I loved every second of it. I had the privilege of watching players like Dale Murphy and sitting beside my father, learning that the experience mattered more than the final score.

As the Braves grew into the powerhouse teams of the 90s, my interest turned into an obsession. When I was 13, my dad gave me a challenge that would unknowingly shape my future. He told me to plan a baseball trip anywhere in the country. Within hours, I came back with a full itinerary. The Braves were playing at Wrigley Field, and that same weekend the Yankees were at Comiskey Park. It was the perfect sports road trip. I didn't realize it then, but I wasn't just planning a trip. I was discovering something that would stay with me for the rest of my life.

After high school, my dad and I committed to visiting every Major League ballpark together. It became our thing, our time, and our tradition. Those trips were about connection, memories, and shared dreams.

My father was the most influential person in my life. He had a relentless positivity and believed deeply in doing what you love. He always told me, "Find something you love, and you'll never work a day in your life." Before we were able to make much progress on our ballpark goal, my dad passed away from pancreatic cancer. The journey paused, but the impact he had on me never did.

A few years later, I felt called to build something meaningful. I enrolled in the Sport Management master's program at Middle Tennessee State University. My dad and I had talked about me going back to school before he passed, and it felt like the right time to take that step. I didn't know exactly what direction I would take, but I knew I wanted to work in sports.

At MTSU, my passion met preparation. The program sharpened my vision, strengthened my leadership skills, and gave me the confidence to turn an idea into reality.

After completing my degree, I launched Coast 2 Coast Sports Tours. It is a company built on passion, preparation, and purpose. What started as a personal journey with my father has become an opportunity to help others create their own unforgettable sports memories.

None of this would exist without my dad's example, the education that shaped me, and the incredible customers who have trusted me to plan their experiences. Every client who travels with us becomes part of the story. Your trust, referrals, and support have allowed this company to grow far beyond what a 13-year-old planning his first baseball trip could have ever imagined.

Coast 2 Coast Sports Tours is about more than just games. It is about experiences, relationships, and honoring where we came from while building something meaningful for the future.

This business is my passion and my education in action. In many ways, it is a tribute to my dad. The journey continues, and we are just getting started.
